stop this train... i want to get off and go home again...

i had a dream last night.
i was alone in my backyard at the house i grew up in.

i was standing in front of my basketball court. i'm not sure if i was a kid or if i was my present self, but the yard and the basketball court was a lot bigger than i remembered it.

i'm not quite sure that it means, but it seems like it's full of symbolism.

super crazy busy

it's been very hectic/crazy lately. i haven't had much time to blog or had time for much of anything else.

so i was thinking about how i don't have time for much anymore, and i decided to nerd it up and make a chart. i used office 2000's excel and that brought back so many memories of jr. high and high school projects and reports. working with it now made me realize how dated everything is, from the default color scheme to the counter-intuitiveness. i couldn't even export the chart, i had to "print screen" it. i've only worked with the new vista office briefly and i hope it has addressed the problems after 7 years. so enough nerding on this blog.

overusing the word awesome in a blog becuase last night was just plain awesome

i woke up a hang over at scott's house in an empty room. bits and pieces from last night came back to me little by little. my clothes were still so i knew i was ok. it was 8 a.m. i gathered myself, got up and gathered my things and walked home. when i got home and placed my dirt/grass/cake stained shirt in the washer and went to bed. at that point i didn't really mind sleeping another couple of hours more with cake in my hair and cream in my ear.

while i was walking home from scott's house i was thought, damn...

it's gonna take me a while to go through and filter out the pics from last night to post and blog but i'll get them up eventually.

vinyl part deux

you might remember that "love me! i'm french post" where i said it got me looking at vinyls again...........

so these came in the mail via ebay. damn you addictive ebay. i'm sure there's a 12-step program out there for you.

these are from the same dunny line. i decided to only collect the ones i thought looked cool. collecting the entire collection and the mystery chases is just going to be too expensive.

the first one is a fuzzy animal with something on his ear. he reminds me of the cookie monster... if he was on crack.

the one of the third from the left is a b-boy with some malt liquor, a boom box, and removable hair pick for his afro. i'm really diggin' the accessories.

the third one, the one in the middle, is the best one. it's a french guy with a barrett. he looks like the french equivalent to a redneck. he comes with a baguette and a bottle of table wine.
