who in the right conscience would let their dog piss on someone's car tire? i've been suspecting the dog who belongs to someone in the unit who lives behind me has been pissing on my car tire.

sure i can be wrong, and sure it can be a stray cat or dog, but every time i come out after hearing his attached bell walk by i see a wet spot on my tire, and one time shit on my doorstep. what's worse is someone is from the back unit is walking him. you can at least pull him away when he does it, his piss isn't on any of your cars.

so i end up having to pull out the water hose and hose my tire down because the piss will eventually wear down the tire walls and i really don't want my tires exploding while i'm driving down the freeway causing me to spin out and explode in a urine soaked fireball.

i'm not really exaggerating at all. casper pisses all over my back yard, but one of his favorites is the metal gate that fences off the backyard and that part of the metal gate is rotted through. the neighbor dog gets taken out to piss and shit on my rubber tires at least 3 times a day. you have to replace tires a pair at a time and tires aren't cheap.

jin da mc - abc

jin the mc has been around for a while. he started out on 106 and park on their freestyle friday segment. he beat out an mc called hasan who had one 6 straight, and won 7 weeks in a row to be inducted into their hall of fame and subsequently signed a deal with the ruff ryders.

he put a couple of albums, but this cd, his first cantonese cd, came out in 2007 and i heard a few of the songs here and there, but after seeing his single's MV (directed by daniel wu) i bought his album on itunes. i'm totally diggin' his album, i can relate and understand to the lyrics but i don't know if anyone else would find this good. there's a lot of good songs in the album. true hip hop beats no filler/club bangers. a lot of good lyrics that make me ashamed my cantonese isn't as good, plus he puts it all in limerick and rhyme. finally a cantonese rap album that doesn't scream "wigga" and make me cringe in embarrassment.

his album art features, the TVB logo, the recently recalled rabbit milk candy, red envelopes, a tv with a screenshot of stephen chow in fight back to school with an eraser flying at him, a far east movement logo, char siu bao, malted soy vitasoy drink, ll cool j, bathing ape logo, a picture of bruce lee, a box of pocky, mahjong, and a bag of "doll brand" instant noodles (gong jie mien)

in the song 1997 he raps about his dad immagrating to the US and he was born in the US but home was always HK and the end of the song featured an excerpt of an interview with his dad.
another song with the hook "wun lerng chan sic" (working for two meals) talks about how he appreciates his hard working mom and pop, and being happy living a non materialistic life.

a lot of good songs like that, check it out, and you'll definitely appreciate this if you understand cantonese.

i had the fettuccine and clams with a white wine sauce. the sauce was tasty and flavorful, and the clams were plentiful.

i didn't haven any dessert that night i went but the pics of the desserts on yelp look mouth-watering.

the downside was the place was packed, even on a wednesday night, so the servers were really busy so the service suffered greatly.

bk gold card

apparently bk offers gold cards to celebrities, and the holder of this card get bk food for free. i personally don't frequent burger king, mainly because it's hard to get into the parking lot from the direction of my house, but this is pretty cool. i rather have the black amex though.

moths to a fire.

otto and i were leaving tapex on las tunas and new ave when we saw a glow in the distance. so we did what was logical and safe - follow the glow, just like a mindless moths.

it turned out there was a fire in alhambra's 3rd street. "Approximately 7,000 residents were without electrical power for close to 3 hours." the traffic lights weren't working and traffic was a mess as we inched closer to the flames. residents from as far as chapel lined the streets.

we ate had korean bbq at tahoe galbi in ktown. it was really really good. i would recommend it.

fyi, valet is $1.50, they're kinda busy and they only offer reservations to parties with 10 or more.
