he's an environmental artist and this is the link to his website:
http://www.sg3dart.net/html/Gallery.html
he just got the site up but he has some renders of his work in the gallery. he has some pretty amazing stuff that make you sit there and admire and try to figure out the steps of how he did it.

this is one of his pieces. the concept was from a magazine. the lighting he applied to it makes it look painterly, but it's all 3d.
he has a twin bother who had graduated last quarter and he just started a job at warner working on google earth. i don't know the connection between the companies but that's what i heard from his brother. he's doing the 3d buildings in the 3d feature of google earth.
the way his brother got the job at warner was pretty interesting. he had graduated and wasn't trying hard to look for a job.
the career office at school had been e-mailing him and he hadn't been responding. he had interviewed for architecture firm but it was free lance work. then one day he got a call from someone who had picked up his resume and demo disc at the portfolio show during his last quarter at school. no interview. no test. and he got hired.
i guess that's just the nature of the industry. people get hired from word of mouth, and people get hired from connections. but sometimes things just happen, and things work out.
