we went to the glendale one and we got there just as the sun was setting - an opportune time for a nice artsy photo.

this didnt remind me of the episode it came from, but an episode in the later seasons where homer says "if bart can be el barto then i can be..." (homer then paints el homo on the wall)

i noticed that there was no cover but then i remembered seeing a bank of springfield sign in a photo from someone else's trip to the kwik-e-mart.

(this photo was sourced from somewhere else) i guess someone wanted a souvenir. if you're wondering, the sign says "first bank of springfield - misplacing decimal points since 194.5"

there was a chubby, older than middle aged security guard at the door packing a 6 shooter and a baseball bat, regulating the number of people in the store at a time.

great skit and episode

great visit guys

so i walked away from a comic, a squishee cup and a homer donut. i rarely type out smiles in my blogs but ^_^

oh and when i got home, i was checking out the movie website and they're have the simpsons movie soundtrack out. big ups on the packaging. very creative. the soundtrack cd case is a plastic donut and the box for the cd is a donut box. i think i might just get it just cuz it looks so damn cool.

i also got the krustyOs and buzz cola, but they were from aa non-kwik-e-mart, reg. 7-11 from our abbrivated krew trip to see sammi at vegas.
which turns out to be a good thing, b/c the burbank one was sold out of a krustyOs and buzz cola was almost twice as expensive.
