the food there was soooo mouthwatering-ly good. i ordered their black forest ham egg and cheese croissant sandwich that was fantastic. it also comes with a bowl of fruit. the fruit was super good too. it wasn't just plain cantaloupe and grapes. they gave strawberries and kiwi that were sweet and delicious. we think they get their fruit from the farmers market they have on main st on sundays.
the atmosphere was pretty nice too. you can dine outside in the street watching passerby while enjoying the beach sun and breeze, or you can go in for a quaint cafe feel.
or...... you can dine where we did, the back patio area. it definitely had a secluded European garden feel to it. you couldn't even hear the cars passing by in the front. it just felt like you walked into an entirely different place. the running fountain added a peaceful touch. i highly recommend this place.

i didn't mean to blog about all these great mom and pop eateries on main st santa monica without giving you the details, addresses, and phone numbers. i googled them and there's a site devoted to the main street restaurants. of course there's a coffee bean and starbucks on it, but there's also a peets coffee.

over 6 blocks of tasty goodness and 42 options, fortunately the studio i work for is located smack in the middle of main st on ocean park blvd and main st.
