like a kid in a toy store

i woke up early today and figured i'd take advantage of it. it was a great day out, and there was no traffic yet.

i stopped by target and finally picked up the vampire weekend cd. it was the last one there, so that's a good sign.

i also strolled by the toy aisle. i couldn't help it. i got childhood flashbacks of the target that was on valley and san gabriel where that market is now. it's a weird feeling walking through the toy aisle knowing i can afford and have anything i wanted. so i restrained myself and allowed myself to pick out only one thing.

there was a gi joe i wanted to pick up. apparently it's their 25th anniversary and they're reissuing their old toy line. but all there was left were the bad guys, and who'd want to play with those? so this is from the pixar movie "cars" movie moments toy line, featuring cars from the movie.

i just though this was a neat set. the afro on guido is real fluff and not plastic.
