the movie is directed from the same guy who directed "the cell," tarsem singh. yeah sure the movie had j. lo in it, but sides that point it was a visually good movie. story goes it took him 4 years to shoot the movie and as he did side jobs to pay the bills, like shooting commercials around the world, he shot parts of his movie and scouted locations.

the cinematography is amazing, the colors are so vivid and luminescent, the backgrounds/sceneries/locations are awe inspiring, the costumes are gorgeous, and to top it off, the story is wonderful too.

i can't wait to watch this movie.

edit: i just heard a bad review from a co-worker who saw the movie. he gave it a 5/10 and said the visuals were amazing, but the story seemed like they were just making it up as they go along. but one can argue that's apart of the synopsis. i guess i'll just have to watch it and find out how it plays out.
