he's a luchador and he has a freakin' stump sticking out of his eye socket! how cool is that?! maybe it's a guy thing.
maybe it's a cork to stop the magically powers that lie beneath it, or maybe he just got stabbed in the eye with a wooden peg. at any rate, he's awesome-o.
there's a chase version of this in the series that doesn't have the stump, but without it just loses it's charm.
he reminds me of that scene in "nacho libre" where nacho's buddy, esqueleto, throws an elotes (corn) straight into a guy's eye.
anyway i got kinda carried away when i was taking a pic of mocre. i was playing around with the angles trying to be artsy and dynamic in this photo shoot.
this up shot makes him look strong and powerful and god-like. it would look good as a promotional wrestle match poster... and maybe turn him a couple more degrees counter-clock wise.
this down shot makes him look menacing to me for some reason.
...and this is just a crotch shot.

my shaky hands gives this pic a supernatural effect, as though the power from underneath the wooden peg is about to explode.
and this last one seems anti-clamatic to end, with but it is an angle i'd would have normally used.
