i actually did finish these projects in time for the house warming party. i've just been lazy in posting up pics.

the table turned out fine, but we ended up using plastic folding tables and folding chairs for the party. i am however proud of my work and the bench does look revitalized and it is a lot sturdier than before.

mounting without a stud finder proved problematic. i had a few hows to patch after running into a few studs. i do have a knack for drilling into them.

as for the speaker setup, i could only get the two of the speakers and sub woofer to work.

...that was until i bought a receiver.

and that's what i worked on yesterday.

now i have all the 5.1 speakers working with the vcr, dvd player, tv, and the airTunes. i'm very satisfied indeed.
