when i was younger, my mom would set up a table and my bro, sis, mom, and i would have tea, moon cakes, boiled peanuts and other snacks under the moon light.
i had a relative, (mom's mother's sister. grand aunt?) who used to give my siblings and me money for lanterns. i remember i had a chinese bastardized superman lantern one year.
i took this photo of some moon cakes earlier tonight.
my mother followed suit with her iphone. yeah, she has an iphone too. now i can say, everyone and my mother has an iphone. anyway, it turns out her photo skills and her composition was better than mine. dang. i guess i inherited my creativity from her... or i didn't inherit enough of it. whomp whomp...
