it's probably because of some extremely conservative mother who never bought a box but happened to walk by it in the cereal aisle and wrote a letter. it just takes one.
fuck this trying to be politically correct crap. it's not glamorizing being a thief. i grew up with it and i'm not out robbing houses in the middle of the night. if your kid sees a cartoon robber on a cereal box and acts on it, then you're probably doing something wrong. you've got bigger problems. don't blame the cereal box.
