nate n' al's

my co-worker and i went down to beverly hills for breakfast at "nate n' al's delicatessen restaurant" this morning, and it was super yummy.

the decor of the restaurant looked like it was built in the 50s and hadn't been remodeled since. it's not a bad thing, it has a nice golden age of hollywood feel to it though. there were a lot of senior jewish guys there, and everyone there seemed like they were somehow or at sometime connected to the film industry.

i had the eggs benedict and i also ordered a blueberry muffin on the side mainly because of the conversation about muffin tops yesterday with ber.

i was stuffed from the eggs benedict so i took the muffin to-go, but i had a piece before i bagged it and it was delicious.

i do recommend the place, and there's public underground parking available for free for the first 2 hours. i'm certainly going to go back and try their salmon bagel and jevon recommended pastrami.

oh and i also saw poker professionals, mike matusow and daniel negreanu. at first i wasn't sure if i had mistaken but then every once in while someone would come up to them and shake their hands and talk to them. i didn't go up to them and talk to them though, i figured they'd rather enjoy their breakfast.
